DriveLabs ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of individuals who interact with our AI innovation lab services, website, and related platforms. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation in Canada, including the British Columbia Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) where applicable.

  • Providing AI innovation lab services, including sprint packages, prototype development, experiment validation, and R&D partnerships
  • Processing enquiries, consultation requests, and service agreements

  • Complying with legal and regulatory obligations under Canadian federal and provincial law
  • Analytics and performance measurement of our services and website (with consent where required)

  • Business information: team size, budget range, solution preferences, experiment requirements

  • Communication records: messages, consultation notes, and correspondence
  • Lab data: experiment configurations, dataset metadata, and validation results processed as part of our services (under separate service agreements)

5. Limiting Use, Disclosure, and Retention

We use personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected, unless you provide additional consent or use is permitted or required by law.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose personal information to:

  • Service providers who assist in delivering our lab services (under confidentiality agreements)
  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting) as necessary
  • Government authorities when required by Canadian law

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the identified purposes or as required by law. When no longer needed, information is securely destroyed or anonymised.

6. Accuracy

We take reasonable steps to ensure personal information is accurate, complete, and up to date. You may request corrections to your personal information by contacting our Privacy Officer.

7. Safeguards

We implement appropriate physical, organisational, and technical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. You may challenge our compliance with PIPEDA by contacting our Privacy Officer. We will investigate all complaints and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
